First of all, congratulations on the selection of this position by the Qatar Airways Group. I would like to say please wait for their response do not be in a hurry they will get back to you. Sometimes it is very hard to give you a reply with a specific time when they will get back to you or is there any timeframe. Some candidates are going to Qatar within 1 month and some of them are in 5 months. Therefore, I suggest you pack your bags and wait for their response. Look if you have applied through an agency then you should contact the agency, not the Qatar airways. The hiring process through the agency takes some time so don’t worry. 

Some questions from your mind & let me give you an answer.

Question No 1: I have the verbal offer letter but no response from Qatar Airways

Once you are done with the WebEx interview, they will give you the final decision if you are selected or not. Since you have the verbal offer, it means you selected so there is no delay from the company but maybe they are preparing your written offer letter or waiting for some permission. Once you are selected trust me no one can reject you unless they have some valid reasons or you do not provide the supporting documents for the current position.

Question No 2: I have the written offer letter but no response from Qatar Airways

Once you are done with the documents formalities then you will receive the final written offer letter from the Qatar Airways company. They will ask you to sign the offer letter and send us back so we can proceed with your tickets & visa. Once you have submitted the written offer letter after signing it then they will go for further steps. Sometimes they make delay in response because of some changes in the company policy or busy schedule also. Let me remind you that there are thousands of people applying every day for Qatar Airways positions so do not expect a quick response from the busy HR team. Once you are selected trust me no one can reject you unless they have some valid reasons or you do not provide the supporting documents for the current position.

Question No 3: They ask me to provide the date of joining but they are not replying since then

Once you have submitted every piece of document asked by the Qatar Airways HR Team then you are ready to fly. People are so excited that they can’t wait to see Qatar or Qatar airway’s lifestyle but there is something you should know they can change anything anytime. You cannot decide anything because they are doing some changes according to their timeframe or permissions from top management. If you have provided your DOJ (Date of Joining), then most likely you will be joining on that date and you will receive the confirmation in email. There are few chances that they change the timeframe for your date of joining just because they need other candidates on the same date that is why. Once you are selected trust me no one can reject you unless they have some valid reasons or you do not provide the supporting documents for the current position.

Question No 4: They send me the ticket but later on cancel it I have no idea why?

Look, as I have mentioned many times on my YouTube channel and this page, they can change anything anytime so we cannot expect according to our choice or wish. Sometimes they cancel the ticket just because they need other candidates to join at the same time. Sometimes they cancel the ticket just because their top management told them to do so. Your ticket will be reissued and sent to your email ASAP once they make some changes. Once you are selected trust me no one can reject you unless they have some valid reasons or you do not provide the supporting documents for the current position.

Question No 5: Should I be worried that I gave my resignation to my previous company but no response from Qatar airways?

You should not be worried about this issue because if you have an offer letter/visa then consider yourself a permanent employee of Qatar Airways. However, please make sure to follow every instruction coming from the Qatar Airways HR department/coordinator. Once you are selected trust me no one can reject you unless they have some valid reasons or you do not provide the supporting documents for the current position.
